2. the short version
- This website uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.
- Downloads require no account and no registration.
- The plugins run entirely on your computer and do not collect or transmit any data.
3. website & server logs
This site is served from a server located in Germany. When you visit, the web server automatically processes technical access data (IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser user agent, referrer) in its log files. This is technically necessary to deliver the site and to protect it against abuse — the legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. From these log files we also derive aggregated, anonymous access statistics (daily visitor and download counts) — no profiles, no cookies, no individual tracking. The logs themselves are routinely deleted.
4. the plugins
The AySound plugins process audio locally in your DAW or as standalone applications. They do not collect, store, or transmit personal data. There is no telemetry, no online activation, no update phone-home, and no hidden network traffic. Settings and presets are stored locally on your computer. Optional diagnostic files, if any, are written only to your own machine and leave it only if you decide to send them to us yourself.
5. contact by e-mail
If you write to us, we use your e-mail address and the content of your message solely to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed and no statutory retention period applies. Your data is never sold or shared for marketing.
6. your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, simply e-mail us.
7. changes
If we ever change how this site or the plugins handle data, we will update this policy first — the date at the top always tells you the current version.
